Wysh is built on a simple idea: what's yours stays yours. This page says what the app and this website collect, why, and how to remove it. Plain words, no surprises.
Wysh works fully without signing in. Your practice lives on your phone: the lines you keep, your reflections and journal, your focus, rhythm and reminder window.
To learn what fits you and to keep the app running well, the app keeps an anonymous session with our database provider and records how you use it: which lines you keep, save or reflect on, which screens you open, and whether a trial or purchase started. This is tied to a random identifier, not to your name. We use it to shape your mix and to understand how Wysh is doing as a whole. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Signing in is optional. It exists for one reason: to keep your practice when you change phones. When you sign in with Apple or an email code, we store:
your email address and, if you shared it, your name and birthday; the lines you saved; your reflections and journal entries; your focus and rhythm settings.
Sign in with Apple lets you hide your email; we then see only the relay address Apple gives us. There are no passwords: the email way sends you a one-time code.
Trials, plans and Wysh Forever are handled by Apple. Apple takes the payment; we never see your card. We receive a transaction identifier and the product you chose, which we keep to unlock what you paid for on all your devices and to understand how many people practice with Wysh.
Lines reach you through notifications only if you allow them, and only in the window you set. Widgets read the same practice that lives on your phone. Neither leaves the device.
Data is stored with Supabase in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Apple provides sign-in and payments. There are no advertising networks, no trackers, no data brokers. Your words are never used to train anything and are never shown to anyone but you.
Practice data stays while your account exists. Delete your account inside the app: Settings, Account, Delete Account. This removes your account and everything synced with it from our servers, at once and for good. Data that only lived on your phone goes when you delete the app. Anonymous usage records without an account are kept for up to two years and cannot be linked back to you. Write to us for anything else.
Wysh is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep accounts for them. If you believe a child has created one, write to us and we will remove it.
Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, correct it, or have it deleted. Email is enough; we answer within 30 days.
If you joined the waitlist, we keep the email you gave us and the name of the link you came through, to write to you about Wysh and early-member terms. No other newsletters, no sharing, no selling. The site uses cookie-less, privacy-friendly page analytics that record no personal data.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you before it applies. The date above always says when it last moved.
